  • Pre-Review Similarity Screening Using iThenticate

To uphold high standards of research integrity and responsible scholarly publishing, all manuscripts submitted to the journal will be screened using iThenticate before they are sent for peer review.

The similarity report will be reviewed by the editorial team to identify potentially inappropriate text overlap, unattributed material, duplicate publication, or excessive reuse of previously published content.

A similarity percentage alone will not determine whether a manuscript is acceptable. Reports will be evaluated in context, taking into account properly cited material, references, standard methodological terminology, and other legitimate sources of textual similarity.

Where substantial or potentially inappropriate overlap is identified, authors may be asked to revise the manuscript, provide clarification, or address the relevant material before the manuscript proceeds to peer review. In cases involving serious concerns about originality or publication ethics, the manuscript may be rejected in accordance with the journal's editorial policies.

This screening forms part of the journal's commitment to maintaining the integrity, originality, and quality of the scholarly record.
